  • 精深技能发展局设立于2016年，目的是为了鼓励国人更好地掌握和精通技能，强化优质的教育和培训系统，并发扬终身学习的优良文化。
  • 为了应对未知的挑战，政府希望国人能通过精深技能来提升技能，与时俱进。
  • 在这项全国运动中，年满25岁的国人都能获得新币500元的未来技能培训补助（SkillsFuture Credit），可用来支付各领域的课程。政府在提供了第一笔新币500元的补助金后，接下来也会定期填补金额。
  • 为了应对冠病疫情所带来的冲击，政府于2020年年底推出新心相连技能提升计划（SGUnited Skills）和新心相连中途转业人士见习计划（SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways），让大约9, 800人受惠。

ETYMOLOGY
  • SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) was established in 2016 to encourage citizens to master skills, to enhance the quality of education and training programmes, and to foster a culture of lifelong learning.
  • To keep up with the times as well as face future challenges, the Government encourages Singaporeans to upgrade their skills through SkillsFuture and maintain their competitive edge.
  • Under this national movement, Singaporeans aged 25 and above receive S$500 in SkillsFuture Credit, which can be used to pay for courses in various fields. Following the initial credit, the Government provides regular top-ups.
  • To alleviate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government launched the SGUnited Skills and SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways programmes in late 2020, benefiting some 9,800 individuals.
