  • 为了应对冠病疫情所带来的冲击,政府于2020年年底推出新心相连技能提升计划(SGUnited Skills)和新心相连中途转业人士见习计划(SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways),让大约9, 800人受惠。

ETYMOLOGY
  • SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) was established in 2016 to encourage citizens to master skills, to enhance the quality of education and training programmes, and to foster a culture of lifelong learning.
  • To keep up with the times as well as face future challenges, the Government encourages Singaporeans to upgrade their skills through SkillsFuture and maintain their competitive edge.
  • Under this national movement, Singaporeans aged 25 and above receive S$500 in SkillsFuture Credit, which can be used to pay for courses in various fields. Following the initial credit, the Government provides regular top-ups.
  • To alleviate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government launched the SGUnited Skills and SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways programmes in late 2020, benefiting some 9,800 individuals.
