  • 有说法认为 “汤匙” 一词的普遍使用是受到了福建话 tng see 的影响。
ETYMOLOGY
  • In Singapore, the Mandarin terms “勺子”, “调羹”, “匙子” and “羹匙” can all be referred to as “汤匙”.
  • It is believed that the widespread use of the Mandarin term “汤匙” is due to the influence of the Hokkien dialect term tng see.
