一项鼓励国人更自觉地表现善心、亲切友善待人的计划，旨在建立更优雅的社会。也称日行一善运动、行善运动。

由来
  • 英语 “Singapore Kindness Movement” 的意译。
  • 时任总理吴作栋于 1996 年通过新年献词强调，新加坡有必要在 21 世纪成为一个更优雅的社会。同年，“日行一善促进委员会” （Singapore Kindness Movement Council）正式成立了。
  • 日行一善计划于 1997 年 3 月正式推行。此计划的宗旨是建立一个更优雅的新加坡，鼓励每个人将礼节、善心及对他人的关怀内化为日常生活的一部分。
  • 1998 年 11 月 8 日，时任总理吴作栋在新加坡总统府推出了首个国家 “日行一善周”（Singapore Kindness Week）。截至当年的 4 月份，已有八成的中学参加了日行一善计划下的活动。
  • 此计划的大使是许多新加坡人熟悉的狮子——新雅（Singa the Lion）。
  • 2012 年 3 月，行善展览馆（Kindness Gallery）正式开幕，访客可通过展示品与相关的叙述学习良好品行。
