This performance consists of various Tamil poets’ classical songs and folk dances of Tamil Nadu. The presentation of different artforms for the audience allows them to have an awareness of the Indian Culture. The audience will be able to recognize some well-known songs of Famous Tamil Poets like Bharathiyar, Bharathidasan. Also introducing other poets who have composed music pieces, naming a few; Muthuswami Dikshitar, Oothukaadu Venkata Subbaiyer, Arunachala Kavirayar and more.

We will also be presenting a Thirukural song through dance which will better engage the audience and students.

Audience will be able to appreciate moral values from these poets’ compositions. This programme also aims to share the knowledge and language skills to the next generations. Instead of just learning through texts and visuals, the performance will showcase the same context through an artform which will reach out better to the audience.

Through the introduction of Tamil folk dances, Oyilattam Kutrala Kuravanji and Kolattam will also help to promote the folk aspects of our Tamil Culture and tradition.
