The Tamil Language Council invites you to submit a design for a mascot that will promote the use of Tamil in Singapore.

 

Mascot Design Competition

Submission period for the Tamil Language Festival mascot design competition is open from now till 13 January 2023.

Digitally render or sketch by hand, the design of the Tamil Language Festival mascot that you think best represents and promotes the use of Tamil in Singapore.

Propose a name and include a short 50-word profile description for your mascot design submission.

Proposed mascot must not contain religious references, as it will focus on promoting the Tamil language, culture and heritage. Only original designs will be accepted.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated based on panel judges’ scores and public voting.

-          Panel Judging (60%)

-          Public Voting (40%)

Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

-          The relevance to the Tamil Language Festival & Tamil Language in Singapore

-          Originality & innovation

-          Clear explanation of design

Voting link will be provided by the Tamil Language Council, and only one winning design will be selected.

Announcement of Winner	6 February 2023

Please note the submission deadline of 13 January 2023 is final and there will be no extension provided.
