This programme aims to encourage creative thinking and reading of Tamil content through interesting and visually strong content through the utilization of interactive elements and digitization into innovative methods / mediums.

Kathai Neram 2.0 will base itself off the platform that was created in Tamil Language Festival : www.kathaineram.com.

In this 2.0 version, in line with the theme ‘Innovation’, we will be releasing 4 Tamil audiobooks which have been exclusively written by teachers and local authors. The stories surround Singapore based experiences and learnings that will intrigue the students through the stories. It also aims to encourage listening to Tamil stories and help overcome difficulty reading or for encourage students to listen and speak which will help them during their oral examinations.

Additionally, 4 interactive Tamil animation stories will be created based of stories that are written by local writers. These stories are written by the new and upcoming authors and also by those who wish to bring their creations to life.
