Muthamizh Vizha is an annual event, organized by the Association of Singapore Tamil Writers. This will feature many interesting segments such as Dance Performance; performances of Fancy dress contest winners from Kindergarten and Lower Primary student categories; performances by Student contests winners; Tamizhavel award presentation to one of the senior writers; prize announcement for various Student contests from Kindergarten to University level and Public contests; and a keynote Speech by youth speakers.

The event highlights the glory of Tamil Language and Tamil Literature. Muthamizh Vizha conducted as part of Tamil Language festival is one of the more popular events among the Tamil Singaporeans. The student contests are very helpful to the students to improve their mother tongue subject skills and the public contest encourages young and new writers to emerge and contribute to Singapore Tamil Literature. Muthamizh Vizha is one of the platforms for young writers and students to improve their creative writing skills talent in Tamil Language which will be useful to promote Singapore Tamil Literature in Singapore.
