Vaigarai Pookal is a drama set in 1940s, during the Japanese Occupation period in Singapore.
The drama showcases the hurdles faced by immigrants from India and highlights the hardships faced by them.
This play will be enacted by participants who have undergone training in workshops over two months, and is a culmination of a capacity building programme supported by the Tamil Language Council.
