Vaanga Tamilil Pesalam is a competition targeted at upper primary and secondary school students, aimed at promoting proficiency in Tamil among the youth.  Students will need to prepare an interactive speech lasting approximately five minutes.

The competition will require contestants to minimize the usage of English when speaking in Tamil, and help them overcome challenges faced among Tamil students using Tamil in their daily lives.
