The Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) are jointly organising a Tamil Translation Camp for about 100 Primary 4/5 students. 

This camp is organised under the National Translation Committee’s Community-in-Translation initiative. The objective of this Camp is to educate students on the importance of developing good translation skills from young and also to provide them with an interactive translation experience. Following the success of the workshop edition in the first two years, MCI would like to take this initiative further this year and explore possibilities to increase awareness and interest in Tamil translation among younger students.
