This programme commemorates the contributions of one of the most prominent and iconic poets in Tamil literature, Poet Bharathidasan. The main event is a debate in Tamil, which will also deliver some key thoughts championed by the poet. 

Apart from the debate, two individuals will also be awarded with the “Paventhar Award” for their contributions to the Tamil language. A foreign Tamil scholar will also deliver a speech focusing on Bharathidasan’s works and his passion for the Tamil language.
