Kannadason Kaaviya Kalai Iravu will be an inspiring night of performances, talks and activities as participants enjoy flashbacks of the sixties and early seventies era. Using Tamil language, literature and culture, the programme will bring to life, the richness and rigour of Kannadason’s great works as a poet and Tamil cinema lyricist.

This event will also be a platform for local artistes and children where they will enact, mimic, co-create and render Kannadason songs that transcend age and history. It will also give them an opportunity to use the Tamil language to showcase their talents. The audience will also have a hands-on session in composing simple Tamil poems, and these poems will be compiled at the end of the programme.
