Kalam aims at encouraging the use of Tamil in a fun and creative manner. There will be two innovative competitions to interest students in the language and promote the usage in non-academic situations.

“What’s Happening”, as a competition, requires participants to imaginatively recreate Hollywood movie scenes in Tamil.

The “Pitching” competition gets participants thinking of, and presenting creative ways to sell a given product in a radio advertisement.
