Avvaiyaar “The Twitter Poet” is written to introduce the audience to Avvaiyar and her poetic works over three historical periods. The play also features verses from “Kurunthokai, Akananuru and Purananuru”.

This play will be enacted by participants who have undergone training in workshops spanning five months, and is a culmination of the capacity building programme supported by the Tamil Language Council.
