Tamilum Kalaiyum, refers to “Tamil and Arts”. In this programme, members of Singapore Indian Artistes’ Association will bring the rich flavour of the Tamil Language and arts forms.

There will be a showcase of Tamil traditional folk songs and audiences will be entertained with dances based on Tamil traditional dance forms. Not forgetting the drama element, the organisers will also be staging a shorter version of a full-fledged drama.

In the spirit of honouring an artist for their selfless contribution to Arts in Singapore, the organisers will present an award to this year’s nominee during this event. Mr.Nasser, a well-known Tamil actor, will also be delivering a speech about the Tamil Arts landscape in Singapore.
