The People’s Association Indian Activity Executive Committees Council (PA Narpani Pearavai) together with the Indian Activity Executive Committees (IAECs) from the North West Community Development Division (NW CDD) will be organizing SORSILAMBAM 2017, the National Tamil Debate for Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, Centralised Institutes and IB Programme Institutions.

This will be the 7th year the event is being organized, and it is again being supported by Ministry of Education, Media Development Authority, MediaCorp Vasantham and Tamil Language Council.

This debate will enable tertiary students to further develop their organisational, research, debating and articulation skills in the Tamil language. It will also aim to improve the participants' proficiency in the Tamil language, both spoken and written.
