This will be the 5th edition of the Sorpor series started in 2009. This year, participants will go through 2 preliminary rounds, a quarter-final, semi-final and final.

The debate will be held in 2 parts. For the prepared round, a debate title will be given 2 weeks in advance. Immediately after this, the impromptu round will be held. Teams will be given a topic on the spot and allowed 5-10 minutes of preparation time. 

Sorpor is a highly anticipated debate session among the schools and the organisers are certain that this year’s edition will be equally robust and electrifying with the students’ showcase of oratorical skills.
