The objective is to create more Singapore based content in Tamil in Wikipedia by the students. This will promote the use of Tamil among students and will also increase their knowledge in using ICT tools. 

This competition aims to engage Secondary and Junior College students to research more about various Singapore content and translate it to Tamil. Remarkable works will be uploaded to Wikipedia and will be awarded prizes. The organisers are aiming to create at least 100 articles relating to Singapore to be uploaded in the Tamil Wikipedia platform.
