Semmozhi is a Tamil Quartely magazine that was started in 1999 to promote Tamil language. Over the past few years, the magazine has steadily increased its readership and has been enhancing its content coverage. It serves as a valuable platform for many budding writers, including many aspiring youths who have been contributing regularly to the magazine. Semmozhi covers news of the Singapore Tamil community and also provides a variety of articles and information on Tamil language and literature.

Semmozhi is distributed in two platforms – online and hardcopy. The e-magazine is sent out to people all over the world and many of the members of the Singapore Tamil community. The hardcopy, about 2000 copies per issue is printed and distributed at many Tamil language events held in Singapore. Every year, with the support of the Tamil Language Council, we are extremely proud to collaborate as a partner of the Tamil Language Festival to dedicate one special issue.

The special issue would cover the message of the Chairman of TLC, articles on the Tamil Language Festival events, programme schedule and many more. Ultimately, we would like to ensure the magazine serves as an information tool for the TLF programmes. Copies of this magazine will also be distributed during the launch, and subsequent TLF events, which would ensure its extensive reach to the audience.
