The programme commemorates the contributions of one of the most prominent and iconic poets in Tamil Literature, Poet Bharathidasan. The event will have a Tamil debate as the main event, which will be anchored on some of the key thoughts championed by Poet Bharathidasan in his works.

Apart from the debates, two individuals will be awarded with the “Paventhar Award’ for their contributions to Tamil Language.  To add more impact, a foreign Tamil scholar will deliver a speech on Bharathidasan’s related works and his passion for Tamil Language.
