Pattimandram, meaning 'Tamil Debate' will return this year as part of the Tamil Language Festival 2017.

The organisers have taken efforts to ensure the topic and content for the debate will be related to Singapore and local cultures. The event will be a showdown of oratorical skills and wit, infused with elements of humour. The speakers will be from Singapore, and will pit against each other in this platform. 

Each debating team will consist of 3 speakers and Mr.K.Bagayaraj, an acclaimed Tamil Movie Director who will be the moderator cum facilitator for the debates.
A nominal entrance fee of $5 is being charged by the organisers and tickets can be bought at the venue itself.
