Aimed at encouraging the Tamil community to use the language in their daily lives, this workshop is conducted as part of the Tamil Language Festival which is a community effort supported by several stakeholders.

Organisers will be covering aspects of child development, exploring several methods of Language development and how children engage in purposeful play. This workshop will support parents of young children, to reinforce purposeful play in a positive manner. While parents have hands on experience to take home, it is a useful tool to bond with children and to work in partnership with the school in the development of each child. 

Parents will utilize skills to work with their children and instill the love and interest of the Tamil language. This workshop will provide ideas that parents can use at home on a daily basis as well as play a part to reinforce their child’s learning of Tamil at home through playing.
