Organisers of this event are hoping to groom the general public to take works from the local writers and giving them practical tips as to how to make these works into short films.

Submitted works will also be featured on a web portal. The aims of this workshop is to appreciate the versatility of Tamil literature and Tamil writers’ works and to showcase new works that are inspired by local Tamil book writers.
