The workshop, a hands-on session designed for parent and child pairs, will allow children to read simple Tamil words and represent them through drawings. A simple illustrated foldout with Tamil vocabulary suitable for children aged 4-8 years will be distributed to the participants as a takeaway to further encourage learning through the use of images. 

During the main activity, the co-facilitator will read from a book and the lead facilitator will guide the participants into drawing their interpretation of the story. Session participants will experience how drawing images formed in the mind will help children better understand languages in a more engaging and fun way.
