In this 2-hour programme, the organisers will highlight the history of the 3 Tamil dynasties (Chera, Chozha and Pandiya), with a focus on the Chozha dynasty due to their love of the Tamil language and literature.

Organisers will present a 30 minute overview of the Chozhas, and then proceed with an ‘amazing race’. Students will be split into groups of about 8 and the winning team will be the one that successfully completes their questionnaires first. 

The objective of this programme is to share with students the Chozha dynasty and how the Tamil language has prevailed for thousands of years. This will instill in them the pride and love of the language, and make them more aware of the historical significance of the Tamil language.
