NUS Tamil Language Society (NUS TLS) is pleased to host Yutham 2016, a Tamil vocabulary competition for pre-university students as part of Tamil Language Festival 2016.

Yutham 2016 aims to encourage pre-university students to explore Tamil vocabulary in a fun and light-hearted manner. It also hopes to expose them to Tamil words that are commonly used in the Singapore context.Yutham 2016 will be held on 3rd April 2016 (Sunday) at Woodlands Regional Library Auditorium. The Preliminary Rounds will be held from 10.00am to 12.30pm while the Grand Finals and Prize Giving Ceremony will be held from 1.30 to 4.30pm on the same day. Lunch will be provided to all participants and supporters. Registration will begin at 9.15am and close sharply by 9.45am. Supporters are heavily encouraged to attend the competition as part of the audience to show their support to the participants. The competition will be played in a manner that will be engaging and useful for the audience.
