In conjunction with the Tamil Language Festival 2023, TATTVA choreographed a dance theatre production titled ‘NAYAGI’ (Heroines of the past) that explores Tamil literature and mythological epics female characters. The performance is crafted based on a refined adaptation from Tamil literary texts, to promote the proficiency and fluency of the Tamil language amongst youths.

This will be done primarily by infusing the Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam, with other contemporary movements to create a fresh and original artistic illustration of the concept. The production is designed to adapt traditional Indian arts as a medium to narrate stories associated with epics and legends, highlighting moral values that are of relevance to the present social climate amongst youths and students.
