Kathai Neram 2023 Is targeted at students! Four animation stories will be created by four pre-school teachers and two primary schools teacher trainees for primary school students. All four stories will be sent out to all primary 3 and primary 4 Tamil students to take part in a story-reciting competition. Parents will need to work with the students to tell the stories in creative manners using props, animation or graphics. Top 3 winners will be selected and honoured at the finale. 

The Secondary school students can take part in the famous and much anticipated comic creation competition! Students need to create a comic strip under the theme of Azhagu (Beauty) to promote Tamil. Top 3 winners will be honoured at the finale. As a wrap to the TLF Kathai Neram 2023 event, all winners will be unveiled on the final day and honoured on stage in-person. Winners of the story-reciting competition will perform their stories on stage, and the winners of the comic creation competition will share on stage the creative process and how it promotes Tamil.
