Arthathon is a competition aimed at tertiary students that seeks to develop the use of Tamil through theatre.  This final competition is also a culmination of a capacity building programme supported by the Tamil Language Council.

During the earlier workshops, participants would have gained insights on various theatre domains such as scripting, directing and lighting.

Using the skills garnered at the workshops, the participants will participate in this final competition to create an original script in Tamil under facilitators’ guidance and produce their ten-minute play, all within 24 hours. It’s a race to the finish line.
