Background of Event:

This event is aligned with Tamil Language month and Crescent Girls’ School’s 60th Anniversary, with the support of TLLPC (Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee).
Students learnt to develop online trails, for the purpose of place-based authentic learning and 21CC knowledge construction using ICT tools.

Trail Shuttle applications created by the participating schools were brought to the respective location where the students were able to put their application and acquired knowledge to use.
Winners and participants of the Trail Shuttle applications received awards and recognitions by Guest of Honour -Deputy Director, MTLB, Moe – Mdm Santhi Sellappan.

Objectives:

- To create an opportunity for Tamil students to collaborate and learn in a fun and interesting way using the Tamil Language beyond the classroom
- To give students an opportunity to explore Singapore’s national monuments and to acquire knowledge about Singapore’s diverse culture, and heritage through Tamil Language

 Target Audience

Lower Secondary Tamil students

Activity Details:

- Participating students and teachers were given complimentary Trail Shuttle accounts for one year
- Teachers and students were given training
