释义

名词

一种香甜、浓稠的羹类甜品,用去皮的绿豆熬成。

DEFINITION

Noun

A sweet, thick soup made with split mung beans, eaten as a snack or dessert.

由来
  • 源自闽南话词语 tau suan
  • 一种潮汕甜品。其做法是用去皮的绿豆加糖熬煮成羹,加入勾芡,再配上切成小段的油条或椰浆一起食用。
  • 除了在豆爽中加入油条之外,还可以加入薯粉做的清心丸,吃起来比较绵糯,或者加入新鲜马蹄粒,使口感更加爽脆。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The name of this dish originates from the Hokkien term tau suan.

  • Tau suan is a Teochew dessert made by cooking split mung beans in a soup sweetened with sugar. It is then thickened with starch before being served with pieces of fried dough sticks or coconut milk.

  • For added texture, chewy tapioca cubes or crunchy water chestnuts can also be included.

例句
豆爽应该在三分钟内吃完。否则碰到口水,里头的淀粉很快就会分解,豆爽就会变得水水的,不好吃。(《联合早报》,11/01/2019)
SAMPLE SENTENCE

Tau suan is best eaten within three minutes, as the starch in the soup breaks down quickly when it comes into contact with saliva. This causes the soup to become watery and lose its appeal.
