  • 英语“park connector”的意译。
  • 1990年，新加坡政府提出绿化网络（network of greenways）的概念，而后在1991年由花园城市行动委员会（Garden City Action Committee）批准了公园连道计划。
  • 新加坡的第一个公园连道于1992年8月14日正式开放，该连道衔接了碧山–宏茂桥公园（Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park）与加冷河滨公园（Kallang Riverside Park）。
  • 在2019年，新加坡已有超过300公里的公园连道，并计划在2030年把它增至500公里。
  • 公园连道旨在改善公园、自然保护区及住宅区之间的连通性，并为新加坡人提供无障碍的休闲选择。

ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “公园连道” is a paraphrase of the English term “park connector”. ƒ
  • The concept of a network of greenways was introduced by the Singapore Government in 1990. In 1991, the Park Connector Network proposal was adopted by the Garden City Action Committee.
  • Singapore’s first park connector was officially opened on 14 August 1992. It connects Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park with Kallang Riverside Park.
  • The Park Connector Network, which measured over 300 kilometres in 2019, is expected to reach 500 kilometres by 2030.
