  • Gado gado is the dish’s name in Indonesian, which means to mix and stir.
  • Traditional gado gado includes raw and cooked ingredients. The raw ingredients include cucumber, onion, carrot, lettuce, and cabbage. The cooked ingredients include bean sprouts, kangkong, long beans, cauliflower, potatoes, eggs, tofu, prawn crackers, and shallots.
  • Apart from the above ingredients, the key to delicious tauhu goreng is the peanut sauce that is mixed into the dish at the end. The main ingredients of the sauce include peanuts, dried chilli, fried shallots, lemongrass, dried shrimps, and coconut milk.
