  • 在新加坡,表演谐剧的著名演员可称为“谐星”。谐剧指的是搞笑剧或滑稽剧。新加坡的谐剧一般只有两个至五个角色,以逗乐观众为目的。新加坡最早的谐星是1960年代的“谐剧双宝”—— 王沙与野峰。其他著名的谐星有华亮、兆锦、梁智强、葛米星等。
ETYMOLOGY
  • In Singapore, the term “谐星” refers to a performer who appears in a comedy act, which can be a parody or comic sketch. Comedy acts in Singapore usually comprise two to five performers, whose aim is to entertain the audience. Singapore’s earliest comedians were the Comedic Duo of Wang Sha and Ye Feng in the 1960s. Other notable comedians include Hua Liang, Zhao Jin, Jack Neo and Gurmit Singh.
