• Temasek Junior College (TJC), founded in 1977, is located at Bedok South Road. Since January 2024, the school has temporarily moved to the site of the former Tampines Junior College at Tampines Avenue 9 to facilitate the upgrading of the Bedok campus, which is expected to reopen in January 2028.
• TJC was the second Government junior college to be established.
• Owing to its emphasis on campus greening, and its school crest’s predominantly green background, symbolising a clean and green school environment, TJC also came to be known as “绿园” (“green campus”).

He was the only Hwa Chong Junior College alumnus present and quietly listened to the Temasek Junior College alumni, who had been on the opposition team. They concluded that the proposition team had lost because the debate motion was not favourable to them. (Lianhe Zaobao, 29/4/2000)

• TJC and Hwa Chong Junior College were the first two junior colleges to offer the Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP), launched by the Ministry of Education in 1990.
• “Temasek Night” or “绿园之夜” (literally, “night at the green campus”) is an annual drama production organised by TJC Chinese Drama.
