由来
  • 单程车资卡可以从普通自动售票机(General Ticketing Machine)购买。搭客从购买日期起30天内可以搭乘6次地铁,10分的押金也会在搭客第三次使用时自动退还。第六次使用车资卡时,还能获得10分的折扣。
  • 1997年,为了缓和高峰时间人流拥挤的现象,在上午730分前使用现金购买单程车资卡,每趟需要多付10分。
  • 201211月,新的标准车票计划(Standard Ticket Scheme)开始逐渐在全岛推行。在此计划下,搭客可以购买往返车票(Return Ticket)
  • 2022年,普通自动售票机售卖的单程车资卡逐步被淘汰。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Single trip fare cards can be purchased from General Ticketing Machines. Passengers who purchased the card can travel six times on the MRT within 30 days from the date of purchase, and the deposit amount of ten cents will be automatically refunded when the passenger uses the card for the third time. After the card is used for the sixth time, a ten-cent discount will be given.
  • In 1997, to alleviate congestion during rush hour, purchase of the single trip fare card before 7:30am using cash would cost ten cents more per trip.
  • Since November 2012, the new Standard Ticket Scheme has been gradually implemented islandwide. Under this scheme, passengers can purchase return tickets.
  • In 2022, the sale of single trip fare cards were phased out.
