  • 新加坡园艺园林于2008年5月10日正式开放给公众到访。
  • 园艺园林占地10.7公顷,有20多个主题公园,较具代表性的有食用园艺谷(Valley of Edibles)和康疗花园(Therapeutic Garden)。
  • 园艺园林也增设了集娱乐、教育、研究及零售于一体的一站式园艺综合设施。公众除了可以欣赏自然风景,也可以向专人请教如何种植与修剪植物。
  • 2018年9月15日,国家公园局(National Parks Board)在园艺园林推出以蜜蜂为主题、围绕土生植物花园(Native Garden),蝴蝶花园(Butterfly Garden)及食用园艺谷(Edible Garden)这三个花园的导览路线。
  • 2019年3月19日,园艺园林的游乐园林(Nature Playgarden)正式开幕,主要提供孩童在自然环境中探索游玩的空间。
ETYMOLOGY
  • HortPark officially opened to visitors on 10 May 2008.
  • HortPark has a land area of 10.7 hectares and houses more than 20 themed gardens, notably the Valley of Edibles and Therapeutic Garden.
  • It is a one-stop integrated facility for horticulture, and hosts entertainment, education, research, and retail activities. Besides visiting HortPark for its natural sights, visitors can also seek gardening advice from professionals on-site.
  • The National Parks Board launched the Bee Trail at HortPark on 15 September 2018. The trail spans across three garden spaces, namely the Native Garden, Butterfly Garden, and Edible Garden.
  • The Nature Playgarden at HortPark officially opened on 19 March 2019, providing a space for children to play and explore within a natural environment.
