  • “卡”为英语 “card” 的音译。
  •  新加坡陆路交通管理局 (Land Transport Authority) 属下EZ-Link 公司于2002年四月推出首张免接触式储值卡，方便公众搭乘地铁、轻轨列车与巴士。易通卡使用便捷，能够在0.2秒内完成交易，让搭乘公共交通更为顺畅。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Chinese character “卡” (kǎ) is the transliteration of the English term “card”.
  • The ez-link card was the first contactless card for public transit use when it was introduced in April 2002 by EZ-Link Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority (LTA). It is used on the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT) and buses. The card processes each transaction within 0.2 seconds, making travelling on public transport much faster and smoother.
