  • 英语 “catwalk” 的意译。
  • 猫步是时装模特儿的一种经典步法，据说与猫的步伐相似，因此得名。
  • 走猫步时，左右脚须轮番踩到两脚间中线的位置，或把左脚踩得偏右一点，右脚踩得偏左一点，如此一来便可产生一种韵律美，兼具典雅与轻盈的特质。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “猫步” is a paraphrase of the English term “catwalk”.
  • The catwalk is a classic style of walking adopted by fashion models. It is said to be similar to the gait of a cat, hence the name.
  • When performing a catwalk, one foot is placed directly in front of the other, along an imaginary straight line. This creates a graceful, rhythmic movement.
