A temporary structure erected during the construction or maintenance of a building, for workers to perform jobs at height.

由来
  • 早期的鹰架材质以木为主，如今则普遍被金属所取代。
  • 鹰架上设有工作台，方便工人进行建筑工作。
  • 根据新加坡工作场所安全与卫生(鹰架)法令(Workplace Safety and Health (Scaffolds) Regulations 2011)，鹰架必须由授权的承包商搭建。任何高于两米的鹰架都必须设有脚趾板与
    栏杆，以策安全。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Early scaffolds were primarily made of timber. Today, these have generally been replaced by metal scaffolds.
  • Scaffolds are equipped with working platforms for workers to carry out construction work.
  • Under the Workplace Safety and Health (Scaffolds) Regulations 2011, the construction of scaffolds must be done by authorised contractors. Any scaffold higher than two metres must be equipped with toe boards and railings to ensure safety.
