  • 英语“Milo dinosaur”的音译兼意译。
  • “美禄”音译自“Milo”，这是一种结合了麦芽、牛奶及巧克力的饮料。
  • 有说法认为美禄恐龙是在1990年代由一家新加坡的印度穆斯林小吃摊首创，其名字的灵感来自1993年上映的著名电影《侏罗纪公园》（Jurassic Park）。
  • 要调制一杯美禄恐龙，首先得冲泡一杯普通的冰美禄，然后再撒上三到五大匙的美禄粉形成一个棕褐色小丘。

ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “美禄恐龙” is a combination of the transliteration and paraphrase of the English term “Milo dinosaur”.
  • The Mandarin term “美禄” is the transliteration of Milo, a beverage that contains malt, milk and chocolate.
  • It is believed that the Milo dinosaur was first created by a local Indian Muslim snack stall in the 1990s. Its name was inspired by the famous 1993 movie Jurassic Park.
  • To make a Milo dinosaur, a cup of regular iced Milo is topped off with a mound of three to five tablespoons of Milo powder that sits on top of the drink.
  • Variations of the drink include Milo Godzilla and Milo King Kong. The former is a Milo dinosaur with a scoop of ice cream on top, and the latter is with two scoops of ice cream.
