由来
  • 1998年，城市德士公司（CityCab）首次推出七人座大型豪华德士。
  • 大型豪华德士可选择与普通德士一样以计程表计费。车资由起步价（首一公里的行程）和基本收费（以后续距离计算）组成。
  • 大型豪华德士的收费比普通德士高。
  • 除了使用计程表收费，这类德士的另一种收费方式是向乘客收取指定金额的车资。
  • 根据康福德高（ComfortDelGro）2024年的收费标准，预约大型豪华德士前往樟宜机场或实里达机场的单程收费为新币65元；从樟宜机场或实里达机场前往市区的单程收费为新币70元。以上两种费用都包括德士司机的接机服务，但不含午夜的附加费、多增的停靠点及额外的等候时间。
  • 除了机场接送之外，大型豪华德士也提供包车服务。
ETYMOLOGY
  • In 1998, CityCab first introduced the MaxiCab.
  • The fare for MaxiCabs may be metered, like that of regular taxis. The total fare comprises a starting fare (for the first kilometre) and a basic fare (calculated based on subsequent distance travelled).
  • The fare for a MaxiCab is higher than that for ordinary taxis.
  • Apart from metered fares, a MaxiCab may also charge passengers a flat fare.
  • According to ComfortDelGro’s 2024 taxi fare table, the fare for booking a MaxiCab to Changi Airport or Seletar Airport is S$65, while the fare from Changi Airport or Seletar Airport to the city is S$70. Both fares include the taxi driver’s pick-up service but do not include late night surcharge, en-route stops and additional waiting time.
  • In addition to airport transfer services, MaxiCabs also provide chartered services.
